Born in El Salvador, Dominique moved to Texas in high school determined to build a life based on her keen intellect, sharp wit, and perseverance. Dominique honed her litigation skills early at an AM Law 100 firm and then took those skills to the front lines of the courtroom. Dominique’s practice focuses on commercial and energy litigation, primarily subrogation and coverage. Her familiarity with the courtroom and her natural enthusiasm and tenacity make Dominique an asset in every case.

Dominique’s zeal for advocacy and competition was never in question. She graduated magna cum laude from South Texas College Law, Houston, where she was also a member of the Board of Advocates. When she’s not working, she is on the pickleball courts. Dominique is a proud fourth generation Texas A&M “Aggie”, and aspires to exemplify excellence, integrity, and selfless service in her practice and when advocating for her clients.

  • Second chair of trial team in Texas state district court involving subrogation for a blowout of several onshore wells.
  • Defended law firm in malpractice case involving a large-scale oil and gas transaction. Resulted in walkaway non-suit and dismissal of all claims.
  • Member of team representing various insurers and companies in multi-million-dollar oil and gas well blowout recovery actions involving negligence, breach of contract, and product liability claims.
  • Member of team advising and representing various insurers in coverage disputes involving various energy package policies. Issues include applicability and scope of control of well, pollution, property damage, removal of debris, and well restoration coverage.
  • Draft Member of team advising and representing various insurers and companies in contractual disputes over whether defense, indemnity, and insurance coverage is owed.
  • Drafted successful Appellees’ Brief related to an interlocutory appeal of an order denying the opposing party’s temporary injunction and request for receivership.
  • First chair of trial team securing two defense judgments in Texas small claims court involving the defense of non-profit corporate officers and corporations.
  • First chair of trial team that secured defense judgment in Texas small claims court involving legal malpractice.
  • Drafted and successfully argued requests for temporary restraining orders and injunctions in Texas state district court, as well as successfully defended against requests for temporary restraining orders and injunctions.
